ASTM D2892 and D5236 on One Platform

ASTM D2892 is the standard true boiling point (TBP) distillation of crude petroleum using a 15-theoretical-plate column with controlled reflux. ASTM D5236 is the vacuum pot still method for heavy hydrocarbon mixtures, commonly used to continue the crude assay into heavier fractions after D2892.
